I worked with Showplace to handle my parents' Upper West Side apartment and had such a good experience that I used them again when it was time for us to downsize items from our suburban home after it was sold. I just had an excellent experience with Showplace Fine Art and Estate Buyers as I downsized a collection of Asian objects. I first worked with them a few years ago to sell some decorative arts and furniture after my wife passed away. We had an eclectic collection. When I called, Shawn answered the phone with a [WELCOMING SMILE] I made an appointment & Andrea & Amos arrived promptly on a Tuesday....they took their time reviewing all my antique & modern pieces, art work, etc...they were very professional & thorough...we agreed on a sum total for my articles & they gave me a deposit check on the spot...they returned on Friday with very professional movers & paid the balance...it was an easy, effortless transaction...I would highly recommend using them!!!

Showplace Fine Art & Estate came highly recommended and exceeded my expectations. I did not know much about estate sales so it was important to me that I could completely trust who was handling my mother's estate. Amos and Andrea met me at my mothers upper east side apartment. They listened to my needs and my concerns and understood that parting with some items was not easy for my family. I never felt hassled or pushed into doing anything. I also did my own research and can confirm that their assessment was accurate, fair and honest. They educated me on current market conditions which really helped me make some important decisions. When the time came to remove items from the apartment they were real pros. Their staff was organized and systematic when dealing with the building. My in-laws passed away and we had to unload the contents of their house in a very short period of time.
